Q&A
  • I am going from Dallas/Fort Worth to China and would like to price my luggage?
    • It would depend on the airline and if you are an elite member of any frequent flyer program. Every airline has different baggage policies and charges on different routes, and offers more free allowances to their frequent flyers who have attained gold, diamond, platinum status. From Dallas, probably you would be flying AA, Asiana or other airlines: AA - first 2 checked bags not over 50 lbs each are free when flying between China http://www.aa.com/i18n/utility/aacom_services_charges.jsp?anchorEvent=false&from=footer Asiana - 44 lbs checked baggage free when flying between China http://us.flyasiana.com/Global/US/en/homepage?fid=INFO15100
  • how much do camel lights cost in Texas? i'm from france and here a carton of camel blu cost around 90$ so i would like when i go at dallas to buy a carton of camel blu but i don't know the price does someone know?
    • I'm in San Francisco but if anything Texas should be cheaper. Lately I've been getting lights in an all-blue box - promotional - for $5 a pack. That's $60/carton but I buy packs. If you really mean 90 euros then they will be ever cheaper for you.
  • One Direction Dallas Wristbands? I was not able to obtain wristbands for the one direction signing event in dallas on the 24th. I have searched frantically all over the web for the past few days trying to locate two of them at a reasonable price. The prices on ebay are ridiculous. I love one direction, but i dont have that kind of money to buy two wristbands. If you know of anyone who is selling these wristbands or anywhere & that has them at a reasonable price please contact me at onedirectionlover005@gmail.com This is a very urgent request as the signing is in about a week. Please do not hesitate to email me if you have any notion of where or from whom i can obtain two wristbands and up all night CDs at a reasonable (but still good) price. Thank You!!! no haters or negative comments please, if you dont have something nice to say just please dont say it!
    • Dont waste your money. In 5 years you will be embarrased you liked these guys. They look like average guys. Get a boyfriend and buy a CD.
  • Where can i buy a RED SIBERIAN HUSKY? Hi, can anyone tell me any website, or place where i can find a -RED- Siberian Husky. It can be off of a website, it doesn't really matter i just need it in Texas, close to Fort Worth or Dallas. I'd also prefer a puppy. And if you can find one with a low price that'd also be helpful. Thanks.
    • From a breeder Or look for one for sale in the newspaper or on Craigslist Or you could see if there are any in the shelter
  • The price of this house? http://realestate.yahoo.com/Texas/Dallas/12888-montfort-dr-apt-260a:768d9564d48fc9b3ad576a1ff91d7156;_ylt=Ah8RoaMZN41GL0EB8krv6TRn47Qs It shows this house for sale for $620, but then lower it says that $620 is the estimated monthly payment. Could someone please explain this to me?
    • It's a condo, so I'm guessing it's not for sale, but for rent, for $620 a month.
  • Safe area to stay near sixth floor museum, dallas? Hi there. I am planning to visit Dallas in May and plan to visit the Sixth Floor Museum. I would like the accommodation nearby if possible, but also prefer to be in a safe area and something close to public transport as I don't intend to hire a car. I also like to stay somewhere near the shopping centre. Possibly looking at 3 to 4 star accommodation but want to pay a decent price as well, nothing too overly expensive.
    • A decent price for a 4 star in downtown, Dallas? Okay try the Hyatt Regency at 300 Reunion Blvd. 214-651-1234, or Springhill Suites at 1907 N. Lamar. both are near the museum and the West End Market center, and public transportation. Using the train and bus you can get around Dallas, and even go over to Oak Cliff to see the Texas Theater where Oswald was captured, go North to North Park or the Galleria shopping centers, and you are within walking distance of the arts district.
  • caricatures in dallas tx? I am looking for a caricature artist in dallas tx that DOES not go over board with prices. I am looking for a fair price artist. if any one can help please leave the information here. Thank you.
    • prices vary greatly for caricatures artists, as does skill and speed. Is this for a party or a gift caricature made from a photo? Average rates for a skilled, fast caricature artist start around $100/hour on average. You can take you luck with less skill, and speed. If you need more advice contact http://www.caricaturesnmore.com with your budget and number of people if this is a party. Be glad to help in any way, I have connections through out the country. For a gift caricature, visit our site for ideas, call or write with your budget, there are different options.

Which Tattoo parlor should I go to for my piercing? my 2 choices are tattoos by Todd in seagovile tx, no bad reviews from what I've seen but the piercing I want is 40$. My other option is Contraband tattoo in dallas and their prices are 5-10$ for the piercing I want. yes both are professional and clean, contraband is just much more cheap. reviews would be helpful!!! the piercing I want is just the classic tongue one. yes I know the dangers associated with it. yes I know the risks it comes with. yes I know it's dangerous I'VE DONE MY RESEARCH AND IM NOT HERE FOR A MORAL OPINION. I want this for myself because I've wanted it since I was 13. I will be 18. I've had my lips pierced and no the "pain" doesn't scare me. I just need some reviews and a good opinion or someone who has been here.
    • Cheaper isn't always better. Go into each shop and get a "feel" for them. Look at the piercer's portfolio. Make sure the work looks clean and strait. And remember - the place charging $10 make you buy their jewelry so it will end up being about $40 anyways.
  • What is a good location to have a party in Dallas? I would like to throw a Masquerade Ball in Dallas area. I plan to charge for people to attend. But even at $25 a ticket I need a low cost location or a whole lot of people. Does anyone know of a resonably priced venue in the area?

  • Would you stand with me to honor our veterans, living and dead? (A collective poem)? This is a hard subject for me to be unemotional about. I can't be. I can close my eyes and see forever young men (and a few very heroic women) who sacrificed everything. I am a veteran who emerged from the Vietnam War unscarred--other than by a failed marriage. I say this without guilt or shame. I also served. I was among those who were lucky enough to come back and to able to honor brothers and sisters in arms who were lost. I will do so up until my dying breath. I extend this to all good people of all nations--including our former enemies--who wanted peace but were trapped by wars. The Medal of Honor They lived for peace but went to war And never planned to die. But die some did—we honor them Lay flowers where they lie. A Medal proud that few have earned We dare not say have won. Some brave souls received it alive Many others received it—gone. In fields of mud or skies so high Or sometimes far out at sea, They fought their fears and foes as well For the land of the brave and free. In peaceful fields they lie in rows Those whose bodies could be found. And visitors, families and friends, They visit this hallowed ground. Not all have died, some survived And some may tell their story. Dead or alive we think of them, Remembered in honored glory. – Warren D. For those who lived some lives were pain haunted by memories of those who died. Died is not right, for those who were killed, some will always ache because they took a life. To be an American is a gift and responsibility; soldiers, too young to die lie in foreign fields. They bled for their homeland the one that is meant to be free I honor all who have lived as warriors, no matter the war. They took their courage in both hands, and boldly did more than others to bring their buddies home. My favorite uncle was a sniper in the first wave on Iwo Jima; his purple heart attests his valor though he doesn't talk about it much. He made war very personal because they sent Him in; a 40 percent casualty rate, how dare they? He went because he was young, too young in actual years but he knew he could shoot, and he would use his talent to help. God bless America a land worth keeping free God bless the soldiers who do what I cannot. -- © tori♫♪♫♪™ They fight for our freedom, I wonder if we're worthy. They make me proud and I choke up thinking about their sacrifice. To be far from their family missing anniversaries and birthdays. Sharing the American Dream and paying the price. – Look what I can do… Lost a cousin last year a marine no one could have imagined a home comin’ celebrated in a way flag draped coffin gun salute, posthumous medals given for a boy buried at Arlington, nor could any know his final thoughts, or cries to his mom, she didn't hear there may be valor, but no value in war, No one wins. – Dallas (5 ft 7 Texas Heaven) We Will Never forget you. Life is given as a gift, So wonderful and new, We need to live it day to day, Being careful as we do, True treasure is not found in pirate ships, in chest of silver and gold, treasure isn't ruby rings, and jewels from long ago. My treasure is you, being my hero. Every morning I wake up and think, did I pray for him in my sleep, I think about you all the time, hoping and praying you know I'm at your side. Whenever you feel like no one is there, just close your eyes and I'll be there, hoping and praying each and everyday, and leaving the bad news to yesterday. Now all I do is think about you and cry, I cherish all the memories that are shared, and remember how much I love and care, you are gone now and it's still hard to part, For I will always think of you in my heart! In Memory of my cousin Ricardo Bernal KILLED IN IRAQ Born in Pma--Pma. RIP Bye and Bye. We thought of you with love today, But that is nothing new. We thought about you yesterday. And days before that too. We think of you in silence. We often speak your name. Now all we have is memories. And your picture in a frame. Your memory is our keepsake. With which we’ll never part. God has you in his keeping. We have you in our heart. Dedicated To Sarah Robles Died in Afghanistan , friend of the family. – Yolirosa An added bonus: AMERICAN ANTHEM (Lyrics as sung by Norah Jones) All we've been given By those who came before The dream of a nation Where freedom would endure The work and prayers Of centuries Have brought us to this day What shall be our legacy? What will our children say? Let them say of me I was one who believed In sharing the blessings I received Let me know in my heart When my days are through America America I gave my best to you Each generation from the plains To distant shore with the gifts What they were given Were determined To leave more Valiant battles fought together Acts of conscience fought alone These are the seeds From which America has grown Let them say of me I was one who believed In sharing the blessings I received Let me know in my heart When my days are through America America I gave my best to you   For those who think They have nothing to share Who fear in their hearts There is no hero there Know each quiet act Of dignity is That which fortifies The soul of a nation That never dies Let them say of me I was one who believed In sharing the blessings I received Let me know in my heart When my days are through America America I gave my best to you To hear this beautiful song as sung by Norah Jones, go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1B81kW814qA
    • My hat is tipped to you sir and all who have served. Spread not these Seeds Oh, the grateful flowers bloom this spring day from ground stained and moist, forever dark costly the price for rare beauties shown. The seeds so bright and strong gave all to soils of distant lands, untended way too long what price we pay to spread our visions. Why must we view our flowers there? Why must we tend those distant lands? Why must we give our souls away? Our tears fill our lands yet no seeds we have so barren now this once rich, fertile soil Who will give us now seeds to sow?
