I have his number saves in my phone! Whether I'm transporting my motorcycle to California or my snow bird parents are transporting their car from New York to Florida or shipping my car from Florida to New York we always call Russ he seems to have a driver in every state! I called russell to transport my car 561-251-8980 is his number he transports cars motorcycles and boats from any state to any state
  • Heading home from my travels? (Need answers quick please)? I've had an incredible time travelling. I've loved every thing, the people, the different culture, etc ... but I feel as if it's time I go home. I've spent 4,5 months abroad, first starting in New York, then to San Francisco and head south to Chile's capital Santiago to do some work experience for 3 months. It's turning to winter down here and I want to head back to the UK for the summer and see my friends and family. There's only one set back. I booked my flights as a bundle with STA travel. I'm mean't to head to Rio in June but important things have come up that require me to physically back in London (such as interview for Uni). Now I've been looking at one way flights from Santiago to London and the cheapest I found was £1,200. My parents have been sending money to me, for food, accommodation, etc ... and I'm feeling really bad to ask them for this much now. I'm expecting to leave on the 15th May (tomorrow) but what can I tell them?! Thanks.
    • What have worked for me is: 1- Search for advance booking 2- Search and compare several sites always! (the opportunity may show up in any site, so don't keep jut with one source if you found a good price once) Where to start? http://www.orbitz.com/flights/ http://www.travelocity.com http://www.hoteltraveltour.com/flights/ http://www.kayak.com/ And, rline websites... When searching within the sites, check the following: a- use flexible dates b- use alternative airports
  • Why is NJ becoming such a pathetic dirtbag state ridden with crime and annoying punks everywhere? It's been over 7 days, and I wasn't exactly in Camden now, was it? I got car-jacked at the I-295 near a gas station, Lawrence township to be precise. Less than 40 yards, there were people and noone rushed to my aid. They behaved as non-chalantly as if a leaf might have fell from the tree. These bastards let me off after driving me down to the nearest automated teller machine, I paid them $400. Oh if you gotta discount the price of 2 Newports they left behind as a free tourist souvenir, indeed sensing that I was an out-stater, they had to wish me "Welcome to New Jersey, son". But to think of, I got off really because I was able to hold them in small conversation. Now where are the f$cking cops, I have driven around half the state. I did call 9-11 saying I was robbed, they took some details (Eddie Fischer was playing in background). It was a serious situation, again the cops behaving as nonchalantly as those criminals. I was asked to drive to the Lawrenceville police station and give a physical description, other procedures. Yea, like I was gonna drive 24 miles to and fro. I knew it, they weren't interested in this case. There may be thousands like this buried in the archives. I got short-changed at the 7-11 in the morning today itself. Despite having a bill payment receipt, the pig-headed cashier refused to accept his responsibility for the goof-up. And yes, skater punks all around begging for cigarettes and money. I don't know why my sister loves it here, this $hithole, can't wait to get the hell out of here to New York and civilization. Yes, we have crime in New York too but you don't feel so unsafe driving down the streets. Imagine what it must feel to take a three mile walk.
    • I'm a white female in Camden, you gotta grow some balls
  • Fears of flying from USA to Germany? I'm not a good air traveler. I get nervous. I fidget. I watch. I listen. I overreact to the things I think I hear and see. I refuse to stand because I think I'll cause the plane to drop (go on, I laughed). Turbulence frightens me. Noises frighten me. Bumps and tilts make me want to whip out my phone and make that last call. Funny thing? I've been on an airplane eight times in my life. That's a lot for a person who once swore she would never step foot onto a plane. The other part? All flights were less than two hours. Looking back, I don't know how I didn't get arrested for disturbing the public. It's a wonder why I didn't have a full blown panic attack! (I truly suffer from this horrific condition.) On a serious note: Later this year I'm flying to Germany. I don't think a bottle of Valium or a bottle of wine will help. I can't sleep on planes. I can't read or play games. I truly focus on my surrounding and scare myself to death. I don't know how I can handle eight hours in the air. I'm afraid I'll back out, but I can't. I'm going to see the love of my life who has made the trip to the USA twice in five months. It's my turn and I cannot back down. I need tips. Tricks. Advice. Ship rental prices? (ha!) I'm reaching out to other fearful flyers. Please let me in on your secrets! I need to get to Deutschland, and happily.
    • I have never been good at flying but have been traveling since I was a little girl, and long trips liken24 hours or so.. The most regular trip I have is from Florida to Denmark which is right above Germany.. Shorter trips have helped for me meaning more frequent stops, like maybe New York to England and then on from there.. If you don't wanna change your flight plan then I suggest getting a relaxing tape or video on your Ipad/iPhone/iPod or whatever you might have... The key is to keep your mind occupied.. I would get sick even before I was on the plane, so I had to get my mind off it.. To this day I'm still not 100% when I'm flying.. I carry chips, candy, gum, music, tv shows, and games on my Ipad... That is what keeps me sane and not get sick... Good luck to you (:
  • ACIII and Hitman Absolution 50% down from the usual price (now $45), should I get them? Is it worth it?
    • Assassin's Creed 3 - is a Must Buy and You will love it... The story is absolutely magnificent in this game and plays out almost like a movie. You can get a great deal of back-story on both Haytham and Connor which really makes you appreciate these characters more. You can also really feel Connor's need for vengeance against the Templar order. AC3 has the best story of the series so far. Also with the Desmond story you can really feel as though the clock is ticking toward the end of the world. You can really feel like you are very limited on time as you sit down in the cave trying to unlock the door. Not all the presentation is bad, though. The graphics are top tier, and the animations beautiful. The characters react to their surroundings and each other in just a remarkably animated way. The cut scenes are handled well, with the exception of some occasionally odd as hell lip syncing. The cities of Boston and New York are brought to absolute life. Everyone seems to be doing something believable, or walking in a way that doesn't seem to just be going in laps on a map. There are even animals and children populating the cities, and it all just helps to make these feel like real places. Your homestead in particular is brought to life through characters on real schedules, making it easier to get invested than the villa in Assassin's Creed II. The whole game benefits from what seems to be a united vision in development to bring a world to life. All this open world content seems to come at a price, however. The game definitely has its fair share of bugs and glitches. I never had anything game-breaking or anything too severe, but the game has enough to feel sloppy at times. You'll run up invisible straight walls on slanted roofs, you'll see bodies react and move in weird ways, and it can have that feeling of a rushed game. Clipping can be severe at times, and the framerate seems to dip down when you're running away from a big group of guards in any of the cities. I'm sure they'll all be patched away eventually, but it's not a good excuse for such a bug-happy game. Multiplayer makes its return here, though it's mostly what you've seen before. If you love it, you'll continue to. If you hate, you'll not play it. There is a breakout new addition in the form of Wolfpack, a co-op focused horde mode. There's a lot to do here for those that take an interest, even a story hidden among the gameplay. If you like a different take on multiplayer, this series still has it. Assassin's Creed III does something rare for video games. It has a complete sense of vision, as if everyone on board truly believed in the end product. The story isn't afraid to look into the dark heart of humanity, and truly say something about it. This is a work of art, it truly elicits emotion and thinking from the player. The game is an evolution of an already great premise and franchise. The Desmond sections are better than ever, Connor is a fantastic and troubled protagonist, and the gameplay evolves with some smart development decisions. Unfortunately, it needed just a little more time. With a bit of extra polish, this game would've been an inarguable masterpiece. As it stands, it's an extraordinary game that everyone should play.
  • New York clothing outlets.? I am travelling to NYC in June and will be spending two weeks. I was just wondering if anyone could suggest any good clothing outlets. My taste in fashion would be brands like hollister, superdry, doc martens, converse and vans, Ralph Lauren and Levi's others of the same taste. I am also into beauty such as lotions and fragrance. I do have a preference to Victorias secrets and other perfumes such as Prada. My friend was telling me of an outlet just outside of NYC if anyone has any idea of what it may be that would be helpful too. Thanks in advance for all the answers.
    • I've been to the Woodbury premium outlets. They're about an hour by bus outside of NYC. The bus starts at port authority and costs $42 (roundtrip), but it's well worth it. I got e.g. Levi's for $35 there. I wouldn't bother with shopping in NYC itself, the prices of those outlets just can't be beaten. Make sure that you fly with an airline that has a good baggage policy. E.g. Singapore Airlines.
  • Do you always buy organic food? Good be a bad choice... Let's say you live in New York City and want to buy a pound of tomatoes in season. Say you can choose between conventionally grown New Jersey tomatoes or organic ones grown in Chile. Of course, the New Jersey tomatoes will be cheaper. They will also almost certainly be fresher, having traveled a fraction of the distance. But which is the more eco-conscious choice? In terms of energy savings, there's no contest: Just think of the fossil fuels expended getting those organic tomatoes from Chile. Which brings us to the question: Setting aside freshness, price, and energy conservation, should a New Yorker just instinctively choose organic, even if the produce comes from Chile? .
    • I like to get fruits and veggies organic but I don't get everything organic.
  • Isn't it sad how people are being evicted in Uguanda? When you think about the effects of global warming hysteria, you might think of higher electricity prices, not people being thrown off their land and having their homes burned down. But that is exactly what’s been happening in the East African country of Uganda, where a British company called New Forests has been seizing land to grow trees and then sell the so-called “carbon credits” for a profit that could reach nearly $2 million per year. According to reports published in the New York Times and Telegraph of London, New Forests is backed by the World Bank and has been using armed troops, with the government’s permission, to forcibly evict over 20,000 poor people from their homes. This certainly gives terrible new meaning to the concept of Green neo-colonialism. http://www.cfact.org/2013/04/24/poor-being-thrown-off-ugandan-land-for-carbon-credits/
    • Now that sounds awfully familiar: burning land and homes (TeePees)
  • Why is Australia so expensive? Can someone please tell me? For example: (I've converted all prices to AUS dollar 3DS games in US $30 - 40 but $60 - 70 in Australia. MAC Lipstick in US $14.60 but $33 in Australia. Unlocked iPhone in US $631.32 but $799 in Australia. I recently went to Hong Kong and was able to buy many things for very cheap prices. Some of my family overseas are shocked by the prices of things in Australia. How come things are so expensive here? I live in Australia - I think I know the electricity prices but they vary so much for everyone depending on usage so I thought I'd give some simpler examples.
    • Part of it is shipping costs. Nintendo has a base in Australia, but it still has to distribute the products throughout the mainland. MAC Cosmetics has a base in New York City, NY, in which case, it has to be shipped or flown (30 hour flight) to Australia. Hong Kong is a major city of China, a majority of which is still considered to have an agricultural economy (think Europe before the Industrial Revolution); this causes price deflation. Plus, the major cities in China have a ton of traffic, both from tourists and citizens. The greater the demand a product has, the cheaper it can be sold since it can be bought in bulk. Australia's population is significantly less than that of the U.S.; it has about 3 million less people living in it than in my home state, Texas. Texas has a population of about 26 million, Australia has a population of about 23 million. The United States has a population of about 316 million. Then, you have to factor in the fact that the people are more widespread throughout Australia. Texas, for comparison, has a population density of about 98 people per square mile, or 40 people per square kilometer, while Australia has a population density of about 7 people per square mile, or 4 people per square kilometer. The U.S. has a population density of about 89 people per square mile, or 34 people per square kilometer. This means that it's harder to distribute products cheaply since there is little mass consumption other than that which takes place in major cities, or at least not at the level that the U.S. has. I'm also going to guess that's not a mall for every two to five towns that you pass. Here in the U.S., people go crazy over the latest video game or whatever and buy them up, so the prices are marked down in prediction of that. In Australia, even though people might be buying up the product, there's still not enough being bought to reduce the price significantly once you factor in the cost of distribution. Be glad that you don't live in the U.S. There are many of us who aren't ignorant fools, like the stereotypical American. A vast majority of us, (let's say about a third lol) are blissfully ignorant of some aspect of the world. If China starts to consume like the U.S. does, then we would need 3 Earth sized planets to support humanity. We also consume 25% of the world's oil with about 5% of the world's population. Not to mention that we're 16 trillion dollars (15.5 trillion in AUSD) soon to reach 17 trillion dollars (16.5 trillion in AUSD). There's also been a lot of violence lately; in 2012, there were shootings in Arizona at a senator's convention, in Aurora, Colorado, at a movie theator, and at an elementary school in Connecticut. There's also the recent Boston marathon bombings this week, and some fool decided to try to poison a senator with ricin in the mail. We're constantly worried about terrorism and/or the war in Iraq, even 12 years after 9/11. Osama bin Laden may be gone, but the threat of al Quada is still present. One third of the nation is overweight, and our education system is really horrible in some parts. A vast majority of us don't have complete health insurance, either. Our political parties are constantly in deadlock over key issues, such as immigration and tax reform. This is the country I was born in, it's where my ancestors have lived since the late 1700s. I love it, and it is a great place in some parts. However, I'm a teenager now, and our generation will have to deal with a lot of issues in the next 50 years. I would take high prices over this mess any day. Actually, I've made up my mind that I'm just going to save my money after college. If it gets too crazy, like I have to fear for my life or worry that the currency is suddenly going to deflate to the point of devastation, I'm getting the heck out of here lol. I would move someplace where you can actually see the stars... Sorry for the rant, hoped I answered your question sufficiently.
  • Quaker parrots???????????????? Are quakers good pets? How loud are they compared to a cockatiel? How big are they? How close do they bond with their owners when properly tamed and cared for? And how much does a quaker cost to feed? I just really want to learn about quakers so I can decide if that my next bird. Also how much should I pay for the quaker from a breeder? I want it handfed so it would probably be a little extra. Thank u for answering.
    • Yes, Quakers are good pets. They make good pets for those that are inexperienced especially those who are looking for good talkers. I have heard of people with quakers having a word vocabulary up to 200 words! They make just as good of a pet as a cockatiel and cost about the same to feed as well, maybe a bit more. They are not much larger than a cockatiel but their size tends to vary quite a bit...About the size of a small-larger conure species if you have heard of them. On the downside, Quakers tend to be quite noisy and are more demanding than a cockatiel. As for a price I can't help you there this COMPLETELY depends on your area...I believe they can be up to $600 in some areas and others only $100. Here are some interesting facts you may want to know about quakers...First of all, Quakers are commonly referred to as monk parakeets. They are the most hardy parrot there is. They can survive in temperatures below zero degrees celsius(freezing Temperature for water)! In fact, many quakers live in new york! They also have a very interesting way of building their nests. They make huge nests sort of like an apartment. One Quaker starts it and the others add on their own apartment. These "apartments" can weigh over 200lbs! If you have any more questions or need some advice don't be afraid to email me! By the way I currently have a Quaker myself! EDIT: I forgot to mention, Quakers are illegal in some states it's best to see about the laws of your state before obtaining one. They are illegal in these places because if they get lose they can become "pests" for farmers and their crops...Stupid invmy opinion but laws are laws.
