Ideas for a cool vacation for 1 person in the 3K to 4K price range? Can anyone recommend an awesome vacation for 1 person that comes to around $3K or $4K? The time frame would be approximately 7 to 14 days. It could be any time between two weeks from today and Aug 18. Important detail: I'm 18 so that eliminates some options with minimum age requirements above 18. I like tours but I'M OPEN TO ANY IDEA. The more the better :) More superfluous details if you care to read on: Why do I ask? My family's Celebrity Cruises Scandinavia vacation was canceled because of a medical emergency that came up, and I can't go on my own (I wanted to) because celebrity requires somebody in the cabin to be above 21. My ideas so far: All inclusive 11 day Trans-Siberian railway tour starting in Moscow, stopping in Mongolia, ending in Beijing. 14 day Russia, Warsaw, and Baltic states tour Moscow, Ekanterinburg, Kazan, St. Petersburg tour 11 day Tokyo, Beijing, and Shanghai tour edit: Any idea EXCEPT Hawaii, the Caribbean, and Central America please :) That REI link has great trips. How much would a train from Tomsk to Moscow cost? I'm keen to visit Tomsk whilst in Russia, but reluctant to pay the 8500 rouble price tag on a flight back to Moscow, but if the 'wherever you go it costs the same' rule applies to the Tomsk-Moscow route, then I'd be very happy :) Also, does anybody know how much a train ticket from Kazan to Tomsk would cost? Thanks!

Can anyone tell me about Rubin Kazan? Are they really worth anything? My favorite young Italian player was just bought by this club (and at a hefty price too) but what are their standings (are they more defensive or attacking?) stuff like that. Google doesn't help. I would love to hear from Russians. :)
