where was the UN when Kidnapping soldiers ? When I was reading your email, it sounds very much, truly, reliable, dependable, authentic, trustworthy, credible, and very much believable. However, as I know both sides of the stories you just made me believe more how you are portraying your own country, and how you can’t even understand the other side. You must understand the reasons why Israel is attacking back! Israel is a sovereign country, and she must protect her nation from Killing soldiers, killing innocent people –ec: 1.Suicide bombs (explosion) how barbarian is that? 2.When an innocent family sits down together for Sabbath dinner and gets killed in there on place, how barbarian is that? 5 years old and his grandmother died right a front of the family eyes; and all of that come from Hezbollah. Where was the Lebanon government? 3.Also, young children are out there throwing big rocks on our Israeli soldiers at the Israeli border. They Israeli soldiers can't do anything, because the world is always on our neck. How would you feel? 4.Rockets, missile (whatever you want to call it) from the North to the South, and who knows if may be in the center of Israel (lets hope not). ) How barbarian is that? 5.What about Kidnapping soldiers and citizens of Israel, and I am not talking about only 2 soldiers, I am talking about in the past few years. How barbarian is that? And you want to tell me that your country wants to live in peace with its neighbors. That does not look like a peace to me; and all of this after we gave away the land that Lebanon asks for; we left with out asking for anything hoping to have some quite. Hell, we didn’t get that!!! All we got is Hezbollah, and thanks for your government and the nation of Lebanon that let Hezbollah have her launcher Rockets and missile inside of their homes, churches and who knows where else. Therefore, Hezbollah is part of the Lebanese government; that what people call is cooperation. Also, the Lebanon government said, “If Israel will go ground with the Hezbollah they will help the Hezbollah in anyway they can help them! Is that cooperation or what? Is that what you call a peace, correct me if I am wrong. My understanding is – COOPERATION & BARBARIAN!!!!! I UNDERSTOOD From what you said that the Lebanon government supposes to be against the Hezbollah. Is that right? I GUESS WE ALLREADY KNOW THE ANSWER Regarding the Prime Minister Rafic el, that the price to get a peace in the world; after all Israel lost her own Prime Minister (Rabin Isaac) He also paid the price for the peace. So don’t “cry my a river”. As we feel bad on both of the lost we still have to move on and fight for the peace and fight those who stops us for wanting to make a peace. Just to let you know the Hezbollah said that the government of Lebanon knew about the kidnapping; and we don’t even know if our soldiers are a life. Think about the soldier’s family, how do you think the feel right now? How barbarian is that? So far that does not look like a peace to me from the other side. More over, the Lebanese prisoners are terrorists!!! They came to Israel to kill innocent people!!! What would you have done? What about Ron Arad – he was an innocent person, why is the Lebanon government does not tell Israel where he is or if he’s still a life; for 20 years we have no information about him. How do you think is family felt and feel until today? How barbarian & evil is that? Where is the Lebanon government? In Israel, we let the prisoners sees their family and their lawyer!! (Is in it nice of Israel, after all they came to Israel to kill innocent people). For a different issue, Israel provides water to Gaza and Jordan. If Israel can afford to provide water to Gaza, Jordan and the Israeli nation, to me that looks like Israel is doing pretty well. Israel is doing all they can to make a peace with her neighbors. However, the other side is not putting any effort to make a peace with her neighbors; then again, Israel just got a slap in the face; that hurts!! Israel is a small country, and very much want to live in peace!! With no war, just looking to have some quietness. Then it goes, if anyone allows terrorists to operate within their country they can expect a war - surely? PS: feel free to take a look at this web site you will learn a lot. Also, I attach some pictures for you to take a look. Also, please take a look at the first link, and then ask yourself: who is the barbarian? I think you will know the answer for this question. http://stage.co.il/s/299562 - must see! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_massacres_committed_during_the_Al-Aqsa_Intifada NameDateLocationResponsible PartyDeath Toll Dolphinarium massacreJune 1, 2001Tel AvivHamas21 Sbarro massacreAugust 9, 2001Downtown JerusalemHamas and Islamic Jihad15 Ben Yehuda St. massacreDecember 1, 2001Downtown JerusalemHamas11 Haifa Bus 16 massacreDecember 2, 2001HaifaHamas15 Beit Yisrael massacreMarch 2, 2002Beit Yisrael, JerusalemFatah Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades11 Moment cafe massacreMarch 9, 2002Rehavia, JerusalemHamas11 Passover massacreMarch 27, 2002Park Hotel, NetanyaHamas30 Matza restaurant massacreMarch 31, 2002HaifaHamas15 Rishon Lezion massacreMay 7, 2002Rishon LezionHamas16 Megiddo junction massacreJune 5, 2002Megiddo JunctionIslamic Jihad17 Patt junction massacreJune 18, 2002JerusalemHamas19 Bus 841 massacreOctober 21, 2002Wadi AraIslamic Jihad14 Jerusalem bus 20 massacreNovember 21, 2002Kiryat Menahem, JerusalemHamas11 Tel-Aviv central bus station massacreJanuary 5, 2003Southern Tel AvivFatah Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades22 Haifa bus 37 massacreMarch 5, 2003Carmel section, HaifaHamas17 Jerusalem bus 14A massacreJune 11, 2003Downtown JerusalemHamas17 Jerusalem bus 2 massacreAugust 19, 2003Shmuel Hanavi, JerusalemHamas23 Maxim restaurant suicide bombingOctober 4, 2003HaifaIslamic Jihad21 Jerusalem bus 19 massacreJanuary 29, 2004Rehavia, JerusalemFatah Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades11 Ashdod Port massacreMarch 14, 2004Port of AshdodHamas and Fatah Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades10 Beersheba massacreAugust 31, 2004Downtown BeershebaHamas16 Some more important links: http://www.ic-creations.com/Israel/Pages/Terror/pageterror.htm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Violence_against_Israel http://www.israel-mfa.gov.il/mfa/terrorism-%20obstacle%20to%20peace/palestinian%20terror%20before%202000/Suicide%20and%20Other%20Bombing%20Attacks%20in%20Israel%20Since Thank you, Edital

  • Housing prices in the Negev (description below) and government incentives? I'm 17. I'm both American and Israeli (my english is better but i can converse in hebrew) and I like in Israel now. I am going into the army next year but after that I'd like to settle in the Negev. What are the average housing prices for a 3 bedroom/ 2 bath and moderate sized kitchen and living room in Arad or Beer Sheva or other smaller cities? Is it lower than the center of Israel? And are there government incentives to move south? What are they and are they greater than thoe given for people who settle in the galil?
    • Prices are much lower in the south then they are in other parts of the country. I searched the web for a two bedroom apt in Arad and couldn't find any.. This site has a few apt for sale but they are all 3bdrm and above, prices are in Israeli Shekels 3rd column from right, there are no 2bdrm apt with 2 bath.... http://www.baboo.co.il/SearchAsset.aspx?type=2®ionid=5&cities=270 Here's one for Beer-Sheva and southern Israel, prices are in Israeli Shekels 7rd column from right. http://www.winwin.co.il/RealEstate/ForSale/Search/SearchResults/RealEstatePage.aspx?search=2f6346a38b6ba2e8aa0ce1b85aa82514 I found this in a Hebrew site. During his military service, a certain amount of money is deposited into a deposit fund. This fund is intended to fund specific needs of Veterans: acquisition of education, housing, vocational training and establishing a business. The deposit fund can be exercised the first five years after the end of the regular service. Participation in purchasing an apartment can be exercised during up to nine years following termination of service. http://www.acri.org.il/story.aspx?id=51
