NO!! I assure you the LIU Institute IS NOT a McDojo. They have 3 locations one here in Mobile, Alabama where I live. I have visited there and have a friend from my dojang who works as well as trains there. They teach authentic Shaolin Gung Fu as well as sanda, tai chi, and a few more arts.The grandmaster and many of the instructors are direct from THE Shaolin Temple in China (there is only one) and members of the LIU Institute take yearly trips to China to visit and train at the Shaolin Temple. Thats as far from McDojo as can be. There is nowhere in the U.S. that can claim to be more authentic than LIU Institute in my opinion. They have a location here, one in Atlanta, and one near New Orleans an hour and half from here. @Keyboard Warrior...... you are right to be suspicious about the price but I can explain from my visit and from my friend who works there. Basically everybody doesnt pay the same rate, you go through this interview proces of sorts and they give you a price based on certain things. So say a broke college kid may get a cheaper rate than a single lawyer lol. Weird i know but they really wish they could offer there services free, that just isnt practical in the U.S.
