The fall of the Bastille- 14th July 1789 CAUSE: -High bread prices? fears of a conspiracy -The King had positioned troops around Paris -On the 23rd of June the King had ordered the National Assembly to disband (Mirabeau defied the order) -On the 11th of July, Necker was summarily dismissed -On the 12th of July, Camille Desmoulin at the Palais Royal urges citizens to arm themselves EVENT: -Raided the Hotel des Invalides (a military hospital and arms store) ?took canons and weapons?pikes and guns -Marched across Paris to the Bastille?arrived about 11am -Military command breaks down -Sent in leaders to negotiate with de Launay -negotiations? 3hrs?a guy climbs onto a roof and into the Bastille -de Launay raises a white flag -in the shooting, 6 soldiers and 98 protestors are killed -the invalids are trained on the main door and shoot -march towards the Hotel de Ville -Attacked and attacks back -De Launay hacked to death?head on a pike SIGNIFICANCE: -Stopped cricket spreading to France -People acted independently and politically -The King came to Paris on the 17th of July to assure the people he was on their side and would remove the troops -The people saw themselves as saviours of the revolution -Begins emigration, creates émigrés

Cheap job that looks cheap, about $400, a job done correctly, about $2000 or more... depends on if any rust, dents, etc. that needs repaired before painting. If changing color and done right, the price will go up a lot more. Guess it is all in if you want the car to look fair or you want the car to look good.
