I have a loan w/a lender, I thought it was a personal loan, they say it was a lease agreement.? I owned all the property at the time, and they are claiming now that i owe a residual payment. But there was no purchase agreement, under what would constitute a "sale leaseback" and no purchase price. (meaning I never sold the property to them - It was and is mine) They lent me money, (As a personal laon) yet wrote up a "lease agreement"???, but who am I leasing it from-- myself? Help please?

Does any body know how loan modification works? now that the home prices are low, refinancing is out of the question, so how can I extend the laon for longer time or more years, for example, my loan will became adjustable in 09 and my house is value below the amount of my loan, how do I negociate with the bank to extend my loan for more years at the same interest rate?
