NEED ALL DOG LOVERS HELP!!!!!!!!!(corgi girl this includes you)? okay now that I have ya'lls attention....Most of you dog lovers(corgi girl, chigirl, bff is a pittador etc) know me as Baby G or punish the deed not the breed...I have an Idea and want to know what you think???maybe its stupid. I was thinking about setting up a Paypal account(for donations) to shut down more puppy mills...they are just not getting shut down quick enough. I figured I would look on craigslist here in Seattle (to start) to see who was selling over priced poorly bred runts and Pretend to be interested. I would look at a few puppies maybe hold some and If I see that there is an abundance of puppies(a puppy mill) I could call animal control and have them shut down. Whatever donated money does not go towards Gas(and Gas alone) could be donated to the animal shelter that takes in the puppy mill dogs....like I said maybe its stupid but I know you all would tell me.....
any other ideas to help my cause would be awesome.....
SAVE THE ANIMALS!!!!! YAY
oh BTW yes I am normally a levet 3 but our resident troll reported me so my other account is suspended for now so I set up this one to use ONLY until I possibly get my account back. Thanks all

I admire and applaud your efforts. I can tell you are very passionate to save the animals that suffer at the hands of humans everyday. I work with North Penn Puppy Mill Watch. We are an organized group of volunteers whose purpose is to make the public aware of the horrors of puppy mills as well as fight for more laws protecting the animals. The problem is, legally, dogs are seen as property. Animal advocates across the nation have been successful in bringing to the attention of congress the need for stricter laws in regards to the care of animals. We aren't where we want to be yet, but we have come so far. It has taken work, dedication and patience. Unfortunately, it is not as easy as calling animal control. Much to the dismay of dedicated animal control agents, they do not have the authority to just walk into a place and remove the animals unless there are very extreme conditions. They also do not have the authority to close it down. Puppy mills are NOT illegal (very, very sad). What is illegal is when they break the rules that came with their kennel license. That is how most mills are shut down. I don't think your idea is stupid at all. In fact, I wish we could all join in and do the same thing. But in reality, it would do very little in the fight against puppy mills, just frustrate me and you as well as animal control. The best way to combat the cruelty of puppy mills is to educate others. As soon as they step foot in a store that sells puppies and spend money on anything in that store (from a bone to a collar to a puppy) they are supporting those who support puppy mills. Like they told us in school, knowledge is a powerful tool. We need to use it wisely. Keep track of what laws you have in your area regarding puppy mills. Write letters to your congressmen, have a peaceful demonstration, make others aware! In PA, where I live, there was a kennel called Almost Heaven, in Emmaus. It was not Almost Heaven. It was a living hell for those who occupied it's grounds. It took a very long time to get it shut down. This was in spite of the (literally!) hundreds of complaints against them. Finally, just last month, they raided the place, saved the lives of many animals and now the owner of the hellish kennel, Derbe Eckhart, is never allowed to breed dogs again in the state of PA. Although I am sure this demon spawn will find a way around it, this is score 1 for the good guys. (here is the organization who helped bring down Almost Heaven http://www.lvpmwatch.org/index.html and you can search under "news" for information on the raid) Find out if there is a similar organization in your area. I know Seattle is a very dog friendly city, so I am sure you can find an organization that is already established, with whom you can fight against this cruelty along side of. Thank you for loving this animals and wanting to give them your voice. Be their voice and continue to love them... Here is the organization I volunteer with: www.nppmwatch.com Best wishes to you!
