Can I use 3 separate insulated #6awg wires to power my electric range? I just bought this house and had to remove all of the plumbing and electrical so as to replace several floor joists, the wires are the length I need as they were what was running to the range before I started and they are insulated aluminum 6 gauge wire.
Considering the price of copper wire being $4 per foot I REALLY want to use this wire because I have to run around 40ft.
Is there any danger in re-using this wire?
